Highlights
Ironwood is a preK-6 school offering the highest quality, inspiring and enriching education in a safe, nurturing, and award-winning learning environment.
Students at every grade level experience real-world learning through field trips at Ironwood Elementary. Field trips have been shown to contribute to socio-emotional growth and create a positive academic impact.
The goal of reading is to comprehend and apply what is read to real-world experiences. Our goal is to develop life-long learners who are independent and proficient readers.
Collaborative partnerships allow our school to leverage family, school, and community resources to remove barriers to learning and provide essentials to families in need.
Licensed by the AZ Dept. of Health Services, and AZ Dept. of Economic Security approved, our school offers preschool with small/large group activities and enrichment learning activities that promote development in the arts and large motor skills.
Ironwood Elementary is pleased to announce the achievement of Level 1 certification in Marzano High-Reliability Schools™. Level 1 certification means our school has created a “Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture,” which is the foundation for every level that follows.
