I cannot adequately communicate how proud I am of the entire Ironwood community for earning an “A” letter grade for the first time ever! Aaron Johnson, principal
“I cannot adequately communicate how proud I am of the entire Ironwood community for earning an “A” letter grade for the first time ever! Our parents have been unwavering in their support and encouragement, our teachers and support staff have worked tirelessly to equip their students with everything they need to be successful, and our students have demonstrated that they are the bright, hard-working, and capable young learners that we have always know them to be. Thank you Ironwood – we deserve it,” said Mr. Aaron Johnson, principal.

About State Letter Grades
School letter grades are determined using a formula that weighs a range of academic measures, including year-to-year student academic growth, proficiency in English language arts, math and science, the proficiency and academic growth of English language learners, attendance, special education metrics, high school dropout and graduation rates, as well as indicators that high school students are ready to succeed in a career or higher education.
A complete report of all Marana Schools’ grades are posted on the District website.
