Welcome to Ironwood Elementary, within the Marana Unified School District. Ironwood is a preK-6 school offering the highest quality, inspiring and enriching education in a safe, nurturing, and award-winning learning environment. We take great pride in the strong sense of family that exists at our school between our parents, students, community and visitors. 

Ironwood Elementary, home of the Coyotes, offers full day FREE kindergarten, before and after school care, gifted and special education, full-time Master level school counselor, health services, music, arts, librarian, music, arts, physical education, and more. We provide a diverse educational experience for the 21st century by incorporating student Chromebooks and collaborative comfortable configurable furniture into comprehensive, relevant and rigorous instruction.

At Ironwood, we are committed to your child.  We want to partner with you in helping your child develop academically, socially, and with a sense of civic responsibility.  We work hard and play hard.  We learn important skills such as problem solving and critical thinking.  We sing patriotic songs and celebrate the rich history of our country and we learn about and honor the traditions of the Marana area. 

As a Marzano High Reliability School that has achieved Level 1 certification, creating a Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative culture, we are committed to transforming our school into an organization that take proactive steps to ensure student success. Level 1 certification is the foundation for every level that follows. Without such a culture, student achievement will be compromised.
