Congressman Juan Ciscomani visits Twin Peaks K-8!

Twin Peaks K8 hosted special guest Congressman Juan Ciscomani! Mr. Ciscomani visited classrooms and spoke with students, providing insight into the democratic process, the role of government, and how elected positions function. He shared insight into how Congress operates and the importance of qualities like hard work and persistence. Additionally, community members, including principals, teachers, parents, and our superintendent, participated in a roundtable discussion about the wonderful work happening at Twin Peaks K8 and in our district, and discussed important topics including Title I and Title II funding, afterschool programs, and special education.
